You can build an invoice, preview it, and download a clean PDF in under two minutes — no sign-up, no email wall, no watermark. If you invoice regularly, optional paid plans add saving and history, a client book, email sending, and EU VAT tools.
It is invoicing-first on purpose. There is no bookkeeping module, no projects board, no CRM pipeline. The aim is to do the paperwork around getting paid well, and to stop there.

Freelancers, sole traders, consultants, designers, developers, and small studios — mainly across the EU and UK — who need their invoices and quotes to look considered and to hold up under client and tax-authority scrutiny, without maintaining a full accounting system.
Why it exists
Most invoicing tools ask you to create an account before you can do anything, push you toward a subscription to export a PDF, or bundle invoicing into a suite you didn't want. Plain Statement takes the opposite stance:
- No account to start. The generator works without sign-up; your data stays in your browser until you choose to save it.
- EU VAT done properly. Client VAT IDs are validated against the official EU VIES service, and cross-border reverse charge is applied with the correct statutory wording for 15 EU jurisdictions — not a manual tax field you have to get right yourself.

- Honest, flat pricing. Free to create and download. Paid plans are €5/month (€50/year) and €10/month (€100/year) — no per-invoice fees, no surprise tiers.
