Free Quote Generator
Send a professional quote, let the client accept or decline online, and convert accepted quotes to invoices in one click. Quote numbers are sequential per year (QUO-2026-001), independent of your invoice numbering.
Create Quote FreeMost quote tools either lock the basics behind a subscription or bury you in PDFs the client has to print, sign, and email back. Plain Statement does it differently: the quote lives on a clean, branded page at a private link, the client clicks Accept or Decline, and you convert to an invoice without re-typing anything.
What you can do
- Build the quote with line items, quantities, tax, and a "valid until" date
- Share with a single tokenised link — the recipient never needs an account
- Recipient accepts or declines online; you see the status in your dashboard
- Convert an accepted quote into an invoice with one click (idempotent — clicking twice doesn't create duplicates)
- Download the quote as a PDF at any time, with QUOTE / QUO # / VALID UNTIL labelling
- Revoke the share link instantly if the deal goes cold
Quote lifecycle
Plain Statement enforces a clear state machine so a signed quote can't silently drift after the recipient has acted on it. Once a quote is accepted, declined, or converted, it's locked for edit.

Quote numbering, done properly
Quote numbers run on their own per-year sequence (QUO-2026-001, QUO-2026-002, …). Converting a quote to an invoice mints a fresh invoice number — your invoice sequence stays gap-free even if a quote is never accepted. At year boundary, the counter resets to 001.
Send the quote without the spam-folder problem
Instead of attaching a PDF the client may never open, paste the share link into your own email. The recipient lands on a clean Plain Statement page, sees the quote, and acts. If they have a question, they can send it back through the page without exposing your email address to a typo.
Convert quote → invoice
When the quote is accepted, hit Convert. Plain Statement creates a new invoice with the same client, line items, tax, currency, and notes — referenced back to the source quote so your audit trail is intact. The conversion is idempotent: hitting Convert twice on the same quote returns the original invoice, never a duplicate.
Who this is for
Freelancers, agencies, consultants, and small studios who quote work before invoicing it. If you currently send quotes as Word docs, PDFs without state, or spreadsheets the client signs and emails back — this replaces that workflow with something cleaner and faster to operate.
